This past Sunday, we learned of Jonah's adventurous ship voyage. He tried to flee the presence of God by hopping on a ship in Joppa going to Tarshish. Jonah was the only disobedient creation of God in this Book. The wind, sun, sailors, fish, King, People from Nineveh, gourd, and worm all obeyed the voice of God.
Even in Jonah's disobedience, God provided a way out. Jonah repented and finally did what he was supposed to do. Preach Repentance to the Lost. 120, 000 people were delivered from destruction. God is a Merciful Savior.
